Principle of self-heating rice :

Self-heating rice contains a heating package, through the heating package of lime, sodium carbonate and water reaction quickly heating, providing the initial heat, and then through alkali metal, calcium oxide, iron oxide powder, electrolytic aluminum powder, reaction with water to release a lot of heat and flammable gas, in a short time the steam temperature can be up to 200 degrees Celsius, the temperature can rise to 120ºC for heating or cooking food.
